It is interesting to know!

All diseases of urinary system are polyaetiological, i.e. they are predisposed by numerous factors including: acute and chronic infectious diseases, uncontrolled medication, including antibiotics with nephrotoxic properties, unbalanced diet, which increases the load on the kidneys, the presence of heavy metals in food and water. All these factors may eventually cause disorders of the kidneys and urinary tract.

Medicinal plants help protect the health of the kidneys, bladder and urinary tract. They have long been used in folk medicine for these diseases. UROFLAN alcoholic solution contains alcoholic extracts of a horsetail herb, meadowsweet rhizomes, sweet flag rhizomes, cornel fruits, goldenrod herb, as well as essential oils of fir-tree and mint. It is due to the complex of biologically active compounds containing in these plants that Uroflan alcoholic solution possesses a number of curative properties and promotes to improve functional state of urinary system organs.

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) contains flavonoids, essential oils, oxalic acid, malic acid and silicic acid. Horsetail promotes diuresis, accelerates the elimination of toxins, reduces the amount of protein in the urine and eliminates swelling. It has anti-inflammatory and uroseptic action.

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) helps strengthen blood vessels and capillaries, reduce their fragility and permeability. By increasing vascular tone, it regulates the level of renal pressure. At the same time it has the ability to thin the blood that is too thick, to reduce its viscosity and thus facilitates the work of the renal system. In addition, salicylates contained in meadowsweet make it an indispensable anti-inflammatory and analgesic means.

Bergenia crassifolia rhizomes contain large amount of tannins - especially tannins with astringent properties. Bergenia also has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action, and therefore it is widely used for inflammation of the bladder and kidney diseases.

Common sweet flag (Acorus calamus) has a strong bactericidal effect, and is a very good antiseptic. Sweet flag also exhibits anti-inflammatory, diuretic and tonic effect.

Common cornel has an astringent, bactericidal, sedative, tonic and general roborant effect. Cornel is used with inflammatory processes in the kidneys, sand and stones in the kidneys and bladder.

Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea) has a strong diuretic, anti-inflammatory, immune stimulating, antispasmodic, choleretic, fungicide and antimicrobial activity. It is widely used in chronic kidney and bladder diseases, most often - with urolithiasis, urinary tract disorders in the elderly people (involuntary urination or urinary retention), hematuria, prostatitis, albuminuria, hypertrophy of the prostate. Goldenrod was officially recognized in European medicine as an "ideal plant" for the treatment of urinary tract infections. It acts both locally (on the wall of the urinary tract) and entirely on the body in whole, through its influence on the pituitary gland which regulates the work of the adrenal glands.

Essential oils of fir and mint reduce the severity of inflammation, promote blood supply to the kidneys, have a diuretic and a bactericidal effect, form a protective colloid in the urine, as well as normalize tone (reduce spasm) of smooth muscles of the upper urinary tract.

UROFLAN alcoholic solution will preserve the health of the urinary tract!
